We are honored to have been voted! Ernest & Scott Taproom is called the best pub in Delaware. It surprises you with a diverse menu. Get ready to taste the cheesy-rich crab dip with applewood-smoked bacon, artisan cheeses, smoked meats, flatbread pizza, and more delicious beach food.
It was a great pleasure to have you by our side as the best and lucky visitors who were able to step on the place’s doorstep with a tumultuous history. Two honorary writers, Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald created a true story. They gave birth to a legend that is now behind the place. Due to the atmosphere created between the area’s walls, we were voted as the best place in Delaware.
If you are a foodie, welcome to the club, the club of gourmets who like tasty pub foods. But here is the surprise! The seasonal menu at Ernest & Scott Taproom includes some very different dishes for regular pubs, such as grilled artichokes with bleu cheese and roasted pearl onions. But don’t worry, there are chips for beer, as usual.
Meet our basic menu for starters: honey glazed roasted pork belly, pineapple habanero wings, avocado hummus, calamari & peppers, blackened shrimp quesadilla, empanadas de chorizo, Cuban black bean soup.
If you like salads, we have Caesar, tropical salad, garden salad, and quinoa with mango salsa. But for entrees: downtown paella, grilled bone-in pork chop, wild mushroom ravioli, pan-seared mahi-mahi, grilled salmon, and many other sandwiches and tacos.
But E&S Taproom defines pub cred with a large list of beer sorts. Local makers such as Dogfish Head and Evolution are present on the list, as are regional brewers such as Flying Fish, Stoudt’s, Victory, and Yards.
